⭐Could a service dog help a Burrillville mom regain some of the independence her illness has taken away? After years of cancer treatments and surgeries left Michelle Davis with insulin-dependent diabetes, her family is raising the remaining funds for a specially trained dog that could detect dangerous blood sugar changes, retrieve medication, assist with mobility, and call for help in an emergency. The Davises have already raised more than $16,000 toward the $38,000 cost and are asking the community to help bring Michelle closer to a safer, more independent life.
