EforAll's Mission to Foster Entrepreneurship and Empower Local Dreams

Strengthening the economic future of underserved communities starts by putting business ownership in the hands of those who live there. The mission behind Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll) is to forge paths through inclusive entrepreneurship. Through free programming offered in English and Spanish, aspiring business owners – who may not have access to traditional incubators, mentorship, and an extended support network – are given the tools to take a leap on their visions.

“The opportunity to create new sources of income and uplift families out of poverty is critical to strengthen the economic future of communities across Rhode Island,” says Laura Guillen, Executive Director for the RI community. Through the 12-month business accelerator, offered twice per year, new entrepreneurs are engaged in all facets of launching a business, from immersive training to one-on-one mentorship.

EforAll’s approach is rooted in community, with over 100 volunteers supporting each site’s programming and working towards seeing entrepreneurs go on to turn their ideas into reality.

“EforAll’s goal is a vibrant and self-sustaining entrepreneurial ecosystem for entrepreneurs of all racial, gender, and socioeconomic identities,” says Julia Krasnow, RI Program Manager.

They have volunteer opportunities to read applications, interview candidates, teach as a subject-matter expert, and mentor an entrepreneur. Mentors play a critical role both during and after the program in the development of entrepreneurs.
